The sand candle, also known as candle sand or powdered candle wax, is a 100% plant-based wax that you pour into a heat-resistant container. Insert a wick, add fragrance, light it. That’s all.

Do I need a special container?
It must always be heat-resistant: a ceramic bowl, a thick glass dish or a concrete pot all work. You can also choose one of ours, in concrete or glass.
How long does a sand candle last?
The 500 g size burns for up to 200 hours*, the 250 g size for up to 100 hours*.
Is it difficult to use?
Not at all: pour the sand, insert the wick without letting it touch the bottom of the container, leaving about 5 mm showing, add fragrance and light it. It’s ready in seconds. All the details are in our sand candle guide.
